UCF joined 8 teams from nationally-selected institutions and Excelencia in Education in Washington, D.C. to engage in a session to continue work on this national project to examine institutional practices and outcomes aimed at accelerating Latino student college completion.
During our time together we engaged in three core activities. The first was a meeting of trendsetting institutions framing their strategies for serving Latino students. Second was our annual celebration recognizing evidence-based practices significantly increasing Latino student success in higher education. The third convened practitioners, funders, and advocates as for Latino student success sharing and learning together what works and what more we may do together.
