National and Local Organizations and their Work

One Orlando Alliance – Collectively, over 30 different LGBTQ+ focused organizations, with full support of both the City of Orlando and Orange County Government, unanimously agreed to move forward on creating a formal non-profit organization dedicated to unifying and empowering the LGBTQ+ Community in Central Florida. 15 community leaders, all from different LGBTQ+ organizations, were tasked with the formalization process. Local Resources in Orlando

City of Orlando

Orlando is a City for everyone. Since Mayor Buddy Dyer took office, he has preserved an inclusive government that fosters diversity by establishing local programs, ordinances and laws that benefit the LGBTQ+ community.


Zebra Coalition

Zebra Coalition® is a network of organizations which provide services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and all youth (LGBTQ+) ages 13 – 24. The Coalition assists young people facing homelessness, bullying, isolation from their families, and physical, sexual and drug abuse with individualized programs to guide them to recovery and stability.


The LGBT+ Center Orlando (The Center)

The Center has been in operation for 40 years making it one of the oldest centers in the nation. The Center promotes the well being of the Central Florida Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender communities.


OneOrlando Alliance

One Orlando Alliance is a vital support network for LGBTQ+ organizations in Central Florida. They work to lower barriers, provide critical communication, and promote effective, influential, and sustainable opportunities for transforming the culture of the region.
